How old (or young) is this necklace?

I am guessing that this necklace is ivory. Based on the foil sticker I feel that it was made recently. Maybe in the 80’s. Am I wrong?

 

Sixties or seventies probably. It's certainly no older than that and no later than the early 90s. Ivory, yes, which is a problem of course.

 

Of course. But I can’t help myself. I see it sitting there on the table priced at a few dollars, and I pick it up and buy it. Later I contemplate the mortality of my decision. Then I tell my self it was not being sold as ivory so it’s not so bad.

Keeps it out of circulation, and frankly the USDA really doesn't care; they don't want to know about it.

Yes, it is choker length. It doesn’t quite choke me, but is very short and comfortable. It really is a beautiful necklace.

 

If it's choker length, I'd think 1970s.
