How old is this oil painting?

I can't quite work out what's going on with this painting.
On one hand it seems to be quite old looking at the back with those old nails and just the sort of age on the wood.
On the other hand it kind of doesn't have an old feel. Like the bezel if that's the right word that kind of inner frame around the painting sort of seems to be newer and deliberately painted to sort of be slightly distressed.
Then it has the glass presumably added later and the glasses in very good condition.
The canvas itself looks quite old at the back.
Perhaps it was a case of this being put into an older frame and at the same time the glass added?

    What are people's thoughts.
By the way I'm not seeing anything that I haven't showing in the photos so don't take my interpretation as being from any greater visual information and what's here and I'm happy to post more photos of specific bits.

Looks like a fairly amateurish copy of a Boucher possibly done by a student for a saloon or boudoir. The frame looks old but seems someone did a mediocre repaint and used masking tape to hold the painting in place.
It could be a late 19th century copy on a reused canvas,it could also be newer (i'd guess no later than the 40's or 50's).
I'd take it apart and examine it-don't think you'd be damaging a masterpiece, plus you never know what you'll find.
