Jenny Lind, "The Swedish Nightingale," exploded in popularity in the U.S. following her extensive tour in 1850-51. This depiction of her as Euterpe, obviously because of her voice, indicates to me that her reputation was already well know by the time it was cast. I would suggest a date in the mid 1850s and later.

Have you tried a magnet? Trivets are usually cast iron, not bronze. Someone thought it was a great idea to paint it gold and not too long ago.

Magnet tested non ferrous metal It’s bronze. Or very old brass

 

Thinking this is bronze, especially given the date. Painting it is gilding the Lilly.
