Hello! I was wondering if someone could tell me what a fair price for this china cabinet is? Also, how old do you think it is? I am debating on buying this on FB marketplace and just want to make sure I am paying a fair price :) It does not come with the key for the locks. The seller has this listed for $500 and says it came from England. Thank you guys in advance for your help!

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Very Nicely presented and clean looking....others will have to fill you in better though!! If I had room and needed one, I'd snap it up (AFTER dickering, of course!!) At least from what I'm seeing here! I enlarged it a bit for all....

Am I missing something with these prices people are asking ??? Its lovely, probably 1930s,but $500 ??? Maybe 20 years ago. But then again, maybe Im out of the loop. Id offer $250 and that would be my max. Im in Florida though, maybe your area is different.

    1. I like that! 2. it woudn't go for nearly that here, but try and get something new with similar materials and you're talking thousands.

    Its better than average,

The key is not a problem as you can soon get one to fit.

Here in my part of England, China cabinets don't sell for much, $10-$15 at the most, many I get are dumped.

If it were mine I would be selling for £50 ($75)

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

It doesn't have a back? I mean, is the back open? Am I seeing that correctly? That seems odd. Or is the back made of glass?

Okay, after more coffee I see that the back must be made of glass. Something in the design makes it look top heavy to me. Maybe an illusion from the angle at which the photos were taken.

Values are regional. Here in my Midwest location, $300 would be top retail. Could see it going for more in or near a large city. I find fb marketplace prices to be all over the place. Many people are high on their asking prices. I think they either bargain heavily or, eventually, come down if they really want to sell.

I agree with davey about the UK value. £50 plus a little bit.
