how is this used,flute board

    I played the flute. I have no idea what that is.

    Admittedly, I wasn't very good. Maybe I needed one of those.

    I guess it has something to do with construction of a flute, not the playing of it.

    Yes, as the links indicate; it is a guide for disassembly/reassembly of one's flute.

    ooh ooh ooh -- and when you take the screws out of the flute, you place them in the corresponding holes on the board.

    The flute itself is not held together with screws; but the keys and associated mechanisms are attached with screws; and if you take those mechanisms apart you don't want to lose any of the screws, and would like to replace them just as they were originally; thus the need for a device like this to keep track of them.
