How easy is it to gold leaf ceramics?

    I am wondering about how to gold leaf ceramics.

    If you look at the lip of the item in the photo, it has worn off a little.

    Will an amateur repair job add value? What is the best material to use? asianvase3a.jpg asianvase3b.jpg
