How can one flatten a watercolor? Can water marks be removed?

    Image_5__1720100431_94206.jpg I know who the artist is Frances Lachman but cannot afford to take it to a restoration place. Anything I can do to help it though? I'm amazed the colors did not bleed. I am guessing an iron on the back. Any suggestions on removing what I think are water marks? Do you see water marks?     What an attractive presentation. I'd think best left alone if you don't want to have professionally restored.

    No, I don't. Sure to vary from market to market though. You can always call a local reputable framer and get a quote.
