Posted some time ago on the Bay forum from where I found that the painting is after a Hotel de Rohan, Paris bas relief "The Horses of the Sun" by sculptor Robert Le Lorrain.
The piece appears to be quite new and I would think it is more like a decorative art with a made up name rather than by actual painter.
I kind of like it and kept it on the wall for some time but maybe it is time to let it go. Wonder if I should research more on the "Frankel" name or no point if it is a factory painting.
    Thanks

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I like it, too. But being so new, I wonder whether it really even matters whether it's a "real" painter or factory painting. Unless you could find a well-known painter with the last name Frankel...

I too like it quite a bit. It looks much better than your run of the mill factory art.
