It's where ever the abbreviation S. A. follows a business name under certain circumstances. (the equivalent to the UK Limited or the US Inc.?)

The shop to the left could be internationales S.A
The shop above the sleigh is a jeweller and watch shop.

There's a pharmacy (Pharmacie) sign above the driver's head and what looks like it might be the word Chemist between the horses legs.

Between the horses legs might read English Chemist.

That's a toughie. Not a lot to go by. Certainly an early French-speaking ski resort. And the only clue I see is that the downtown is set right next to a mountain which will eliminate many possibilities but still leave many.

One other thought... Are you sure your photograph isn't a movie still? There's something rather stage-y about it. For instance, some buildings appear to have flat roofs which is odd to find in snow country.

As this one has the number 3337, it would great to find the 3336 others... ;-)

    That is a possibility Debora.
I`ve been trying to find out the shop details above the window sun shade.

Bijoux (Jewellry) W.Muniwour ? or Munimuler ? Montres (Watches)

I`ll have to try and enhance the original.

I agree with other posters that S.A stands for Société Anonyme - a designation for a company such as Inc or Pty Limited. Internationale is obviously "international". So I think French, but of course French was widely spoken through Europe. Pharmacie is also the French spelling for a chemist or "drug store" and the words near the horses legs I suggest are English Chemist. The sleigh, snow and other French words suggest to me the French Alps? How much fun would the toboggans be at the back of the sleigh?
