Hoosier cabinet

    I have a Hoosier cabinet I purchased. I’ve create a new base with wheels along with replacing the hardware and the bottom floor of the cabinet. I’ve also painted it. I also added a porcelain top as it came with a wooden one.     I was wondering if anyone could identify the brand or year?

    It has a flour sifter and a metal drawer.

    Circa 1930. This guy identifies it as being a Sellers cabinet but shows no proof ....

    The pencilled notation on your cabinet is "Dewitt-Seitz" and "Duluth." Dewitt-Seitz of Duluth MN manufactured furniture, but it seems they were best known for bedding/mattresses.

    Hmm! I’ll see what I can find. I just took that as being the buyers information since I’m close to Minnesota. Thank you!

    Looks like the Dewitt-Seitz was a warehouse as well or "jobber" and they would wholesale or purchase from other manufacturers and sell in their store. So perhaps the original owners did purchase this in Duluth, MN
