A steel point doesn't scratch it. Weight, entire: 1350 grams. ~5" crown to chin, ~5 5/8" across the ears, ~4 1/2" table to forehead. Do note the dissimilar elevation of the ears!
I have no clue what this may be, an' much as I'd like it to be old, I have doubts. Plenty of detail, an' nicely finished inside & out; the curls in the hair, the spirals on the cheeks, the exaggerated eyebrows, the hair-band over & behind the ears an' beneath the chin, finished with a buckle, an' the flutes beneath that band to the table surface...
Again, I confess gross ignorance about where this may have originated, what its material may be, an' of course how much age it may have on it. Seems to me to be too well done to be tourist fodder...but then the question becomes what was it made for, what purpose was it intended to serve?
Your observations will illuminate those dark corners, I'm hoping. Thanks for lookin'!

It is beautiful, but it doesn't resemble Hongshan jades in any way.

I have trouble seeing which pic is which part of the mask or bowl, could you explain it to me?

Can you post a side pic of the covered bowl (lid on) so we can understand construction better ?

Yes...I understand your difficulty. These should help.
The side views show the different locations of the ears, relative to the outer tips of the eyebrows.

It is an interesting piece, but I can't quite place it.
Probably elements from different cultures and periods put together, but in an intriguing way.
