I don’t even know what I’m asking about this thing. I bought it because it was so Hollywood regency and the frame is in remarkable condition. I intended to list the frame alone. When I took it apart, I found it to be molded from some kind of wood composite. It measures 13 ¾” by 11 ¾” and holds an 11” by 9” print. The material is surprisingly hard. I took it apart to photograph the frame by itself and then wanted to put the print back in it to photograph without glass, but the material was hard enough that I couldn’t get pins to penetrate to hold the print in place. I ended up carefully replacing each staple in its original holes. Do you think this is worth listing? How would you describe it?

Moreotherstuff, I know nothing about art. But just my 2 cents, I would list it. I think it is charming.

If I list it print, glass and all, then the shipping cost will likely be prohibitive. If I sell the frame alone, I'm not sure a buyer will be able to use it, as the material is so hard.

The print, while certainly an example of a mid-century type, is nothing more than an inexpensive reproduction.
