Hello, I love antiques and that started in the oddest way. When I moved to Colorado, I decided to try making some income selling jewelry. I had no idea what I was doing and due to this fact, a nasty man took advantage. I'd traded some jewelry but while I gave genuine items, he gave fakes! I learned rather quickly to get an acid test kit and found out that there was a surge in 925 stamped fakes. He wouldn't trade back, because he knew, so I ended up having to pay more just to get my items back. After that, I dove into the world of Makers Marks and silver antiques. I've slowly been learning about different types of antiques, such as art, copper, paper memorabilia, etc. I've joined a few groups to try and better expand my knowledge. I'm hoping to further learn from some wonderful knowledgeable enthusiasts here.
