Hi, new here. Can anyone identify this porcelain peacock trinket box?

    I could not find the mark but I do not think it is a peacock , maybe a grouse or some other bird. It might hlep to take peacock out of your search

    it's always easier to say what it's not than what it is....
    that crown around the head may help identify ....

    Thanks it is sort of grouse like. I tried ruffed grouse but usually when their neck ruffle is up their tail is also up. This is neck ruffle up but tail down.

    Whatever the bird I can find nothing on this specific Crown over S maker's mark or the Sasha signature.

    I think someone took a plain bird and painted it and that their name was Sasha.
