I'm Caroline, hailing from Southern California. I'm thrilled to find this forum and looking forward to participating. I know very little about a lot of things, but I have fleeting moments of brilliance once in a while. No don't pretentious bluster here. Nonetheless, I love all old, good things.
My first submission, for which I'd be super grateful to any of you who take a look, has zero in the way of a stamp/marking of any kind. It's making me INSANE(er). It's from some boxes of random china pieces I got and am currently researching.
    Many thanks! 17778989_10211662987585439_2040386308_o.jpg

Many of us are in that same situation -- there are also many experts who specialize in certain areas.

As for your cup and saucer, they are lovely. You pay want to repost these in the Pottery, Glass & Porcelain forum in this site. Some people don't visit this Introductions forum as often. And if you can, please post photos of the bottom of each... even if there are no marks, some people can glean information from the forms.

The moriage is almost certainly from Japan. Being unmarked it is likely one of the low end producers. Probably 1930-1940 stuff, possibly a little earlier.
