Hi another can you identify?

I think these might be made from pear wood. Anyone have any idea how old they might be and how much they are worth? How do you date wood?

 

The one on the right has an image. Would you be kind enough to post a (good quality) close-up photograph?

One on the right looks like ebony. Your pics are underexposed and hard to make out because of the white background. Take more pics with darker background.

 

The interior looks like coconut.

I brightened things up a little.

 

It certainly does look like the one on the left is a carved coconut shell.

You lot are so helpful. Thanks again. Yes, the darker one has the look of a coconut interior. I have no idea of the age though.

 

The one with the image says Paisley Abbey.

Paisley Abbey is in Scotland, just like Mauchline.

 

Tweaked it a bit more, and agree with carved coconut shell on the left, with a rosewood(?) stem and what looks like a bone base. The leaf carving could be Indian (India).
And of course, Mauchline ware on the right.
Both are very nice.

 

How much do you reckon they are worth?
