    Hey,
Looking for some expert knowledge as I know nothing about vintage furniture.
I have this vanity table and would love to know more about it. Wood, age etc.. I think it's veneer but that's as far as I've got with it.
Also ..The corners have some chipping and scratches. How would I go about restoring it ? I don't want to damage it in any way, It's far too beautiful.

Circa 1930 art deco. Wood looks like figured walnut but hard to tell for sure from this photo. Don't think this is American. Any History? Scuffs and scratches can be touched up with a walnut stain. Missing veneer chips will have to be spliced in with more veneer to get a good look. Putty never really works very well in my opinion.

    Thank you verybrad.
The vanity table lay in an old Edinburgh town house for years. Not much known about it. We suspect It had a matching wardrobe but We didn't get to see it before it was sold.
    Thanks again :)
