IMG_1805.JPG IMG_1806.JPG IMG_1807.JPG IMG_1808.JPG Hello all, thank you for reading this. I am new to this forum and am looking for some information about this sculpture I found. It was on the fireplace mantle of an estate I was clearing out and thought it was quite interesting. It reminds me of the style of Henry Moore and the (late) estate owner was a fan of his work. It is unmarked. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

No marks anywhere, but well crafted. It is made of bronze.

    It's cool.

Maybe someone will recognize the artist, lack of signature makes things difficult, though.

Small tip. If you are sending these photos for any kind of research or for sale, I'd move the item away from what looks like a stain on the table and photograph next to a plain background.

Other than that, photos are nice.

It is an intriguing piece. I hope you find the artist. :)

Send a photo to the Tate. I think it represents a bird in flight. Moore did a number of birds, though I very, very much doubt that this is his. It's too busy. Does look to be of the period.
