I have about 34 prints, cut out of volume (a single one, I assume) all with blind stamps, and faded mark, but no titles, signature or index included. Various condition (some toning and some foxing, and obvious cut from book(s))

There are a few really interesting prints that would appeal to various markets (bulldogs, death+dogs, hunting) but, for example "Cat's Paw" by Edwin Landseer... doesn't sell for much at all.

I'm trying to price for auction - if there's something in a known volume that is worth more than $50/ea. Condition considering, I'd say not... Opinions welcome. Where might I find an index for these?

Yes, I looked that story up over the weekend! Just cuz it was weird and easy to describe. Interesting, I never knew that was a thing - except advertising for tires, as I recall...
    Thanks GG

AAAAAAAHHHH.....look at the screech on that poor cat's face......sheer PAIN!!!!! Wish I had something for you!!!! Guess Landseer was a sensitive guy from that Bio!!! I just keep entering different keywords to come up with different links, hoping I'll get lucky.......Check prints and lithographs......art libraries......we're lucky to have Worcester Art museum near us! (Which I have unfortunately NOT checked out for my own things yet.....

Never mind - it took me the better part of a day to figure out that the neat looking inventory we were provided was out of whack - it was decided it wasn't worth the return on their investment $$, so it'll be sold as lot, no biggie :)

There were some beautiful cross marketable prints in that and another set, but the volumes bound and in good condition sell for under 100, so that's it. :)
