Henry Alken Hand Colored Prints Original?

These were given to me. I believe these to be original prints in poor condition with water damage and foxing.
Are they original and do they have any value due to the condition?

 

They are probably original but of very modest value. The pictures are really too poor to derive any information from. Taking them again in better light might help. There is almost no contrast and they are a tiny bit out of focus.

 

I am sorry about the pictures. The prints are in frames which make it hard for me to photograph

 

Not a lot of value although they are beautifully done. You can get an idea of price by checking ebay's "solds" category and searching on the artist's name.

If yours are neither heavily yellowed nor water damaged and in excellent condition, they will sell on ebay. Be sure to price them accordingly to the ones that have sold. I'd sell them as a pair if they were mine.

 

I'd also remove them from the frames to illustrate much better, and ship them rolled because shipping glazed and framed is very hazardous to the prints and far more expensive.
