Featured Help with woven rug please

    I bought this rug from Facebook Marketplace yesterday to give to my DIL for her birthday. I love it and I'd like to tell her where it a made but I'm having a hard time finding one similar.

    It measures 5' by 12' and seems to be woven of wool. It has a plain woven strip at both ends. Those tall narrow stepped shapes are throwing me.

    Any and all comments welcome.

    Taspinar Anatolian Rug......... seems to be the most popular description......

    prices vary.......but I can't tell the older ones from a good newer one ...:(:(:(:confused:

    The colors are so bold you’d think it has to be relatively new. Or kept in a dark room that saw little foot traffic I guess.

    I'm happy with it either way. It cost $100 which I thought was a great deal.
