I am out of my element here and with no signature or idea where it was produced, I am lost. It is a painting of a Dutch boy reading The Daily Mail on silk or another finely woven fabric. The frame is all metal and could stand horizontally or vertically. It appears there was some sort of label on the backing which is long gone, could have been the thrift store tag or original place of sale, who knows. Matted to 3"x5", frame measures 6"x8".

Any help with age or direction to look for value would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Linda

    Very sweet, Linda.
And proof that even young Dutch children in rural areas read English newspapers.:smug::playful:
