Help with signature on painting + thoughts on palette style forest painting?

I found these 2 paintings - the rooster I went back & forth on because I wasn't sure if I liked it and I couldn't make out the signature to look the artist up, but finally bought it because I thought it may be Cuban and would sell easily here in Miami, Fl.
Can anyone tell what the signature says?

The 2nd one is a palette style painting of a forest. I didn't think there was a signature, but now I'm not sure! - look at lower right corner? Can anyone tell if there is a signature & if so what it says?
If not any thoughts on the painting?

First pic signature maybe "brendan"? Not sure. Last pic straight out of a factory. Decorative.

I think second decorative as well. But much more interesting than most.
