help with pottery mark identification

    This has me scratching my head trying to even figure out which way is up lol.
    This little clay pot is 3 1/2" diameter. I just thought is was cute for half a dollar.

    The bottom pic shows some recognizable letters to me:

    CLD in any order
    GLD in any order
