Help With Porcelain Maker's Mark

    I'm stumped with this mark and need to see if somebody might recognize it. The plate measures 9".

    Hand painted and scratched in marks on molded ceramic items often indicate hobbyist pieces.

    Can you tell how the decor was done? It looks like a crocheted doily that has been embellished. I wonder if it was one that was dipped in slip then fired on?

    Interesting, the close ups do look like a textile was somehow adhered to a plate. Probably an artisan who did it for sale at an art fair or gallery, or a hobbyist versus a commercial operation.
