Help with Name on Bottom of Art Vase

    There is a name on the bottom of this vase, but I can't make it out. Anyone know the maker or mark?

    My other guess is Japan but I can't say why.

    Rub a little cinnamon or powdered sugar over those marks and see if that helps see it. Great vase!

    All I see is a price - 2.99
    Is this what you are looking at?

    Try some cornstarch or baking soda to see if any letters stand out.

    Yours might be a copy of the W. German since the bottom is not molded with W. Germany

    Best I can do - maybe nothing is there, but I see a PUI or PUJ at top above the 2 9?

    That doesn't look like letters a name above the numbers 2 & 9?
