Help with Medana 17 Jewel Pin Watch.
Some similar say "Medana Lever"
I can't find what the shape of it is called.
Nice black back unsure if glass but seems to be.
My hubby calls it a stewardess watch but there's Pin watch, brooch watch etc.
Any info appreciated.

Those two pieces don't look like they started life together. The watch could very well have started life on a long chain. 1960s.

Obvious but... I wanted to add that the dial on brooch watches typically hangs upside down so the time can be read by the wearer.

Stylistically it looks like it could be a marriage. Maybe the watch came with a chain, rather than a brooch.

"Lever" has to do with the movement, not the shape. The Medana Lever line appears to have been introduced in 1963. Your watch probably had a model number but it may not have been promoted by shape. You could describe it as "shield-shaped" I suppose and "atomic".

Shield shape! Excellent thank you. This watch is old from within the family. Appreciate your help. #57465 is the number located when I opened it up.
