Featured Help with maybe Bakelite bangle

Hi all, I got this bangle online, sold as Bakelite. It passes the Simichrome test, I never do the smell test, it never works for me.

The only thing that makes me wonder is how thin it is, I am used to seeing chunkier bangles 2 or 3 times thicker than this. Has anyone come across a thin one like this?

 

Sure looks like one. If the inside is satiny instead of shiny, the odds go waaaay up.

It is a beauty.
I believe @Dessert58 has enough bakelite bangles to cover both arms all the way, she may have come across one this thin.
