I have a sapphire and cz claddagh ring. I know I’ve had it at least 25 years but know nothing else about it. These are the best images I could get if anyone can shed any light.
    Many thanks

    Hi Shelly :)

Since your images are not displaying, I thought I'd share some tips to upload and insert them in a thread.

The most important requirement is, each image must be under 1 MB.

    Using a computer:
    https://www.antiquers.com/threads/posting-a-thread-and-uploading-pictures.15990/

    Using an iPhone:
    https://www.antiquers.com/threads/resizing-photos-on-i-phone.35097/

    Using an Android phone:
    https://www.antiquers.com/threads/using-an-android-phone-for-pics-on-antiquers.41709/

As an added note, when you have your photos listed, but before you hit post, please click on the wording that says to "Insert every image as full image" That way, we're not clicking on little thumbnails, but get to see all of the images full sized. Remember, it takes a bit for most new members to get the hang of it, but it's really quite simple once you get used to it!" if you still have questions, don't hesitate to ask!

To start, that was a very SMALL and blurry image, but I did the best I could with all the tweaks at my disposal.....I don't think I improved it much and can't really decipher it....although I think it's a star on the very left.......next to that, could be 21G or 216....I can't tell the middle two characters, and it looks like 'IEN' or 'IFN' on the right........

top image was de-saturated, sharpened and NOT inverted....i.e., normal.

Second is inverted and de-saturated + sharpened what I could....

Shelly I think you'll have to try again with a photograph. I know it's a bear to get these photos, so get someone to hold the ring for you, and rotate as needed to get the light right.

Or you can buy a cheap jewelry loupe to check the mark yourself.

Or ask a nice local jeweler to take a look at it.

A lot of makers marks aren't known. If you show us the whole ring we can narrow down the date and type of ring (fine/mass market/costume) which may help.
