Any help would be greatly appreciated, measures 3.25"H x 3.25"W. The grainy surface does not appear to be applied, and it has a lot of patina under the grainy surface. Roman? roman1.jpg roman2.jpg

    Hi,
Your vase is new if Roman or such the incrustations would be more UNEVEN. The coating on your vase is tooooooooo even. It is a pretty little vase.

It's a modern repro of a Roman vase. These were often scavo decorated, but some of the finish on the old ones is simply down to age.
