Hi, I'm new here and have been having trouble identifying the backstamp on this antique german tea cup. Have any of you seen a stamp like this? I believe it's pre-1949, but I am unable to find this mark. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Greetings, Cardinalsauce! Would you post a picture of the whole cup too, please? The shape and design may prompt an ID.

Certainly. Here is a photo of the mark on the saucer. 20191028_221619.jpg

I'm trying to upload images of the cup and saucer but keep getting an error that they're too large.

Did you take the picture with your phone? Is the file still on your phone?

Ok - you should be able to email to yourself - and you can choose the size to email - choose medium. Save it in your picture gallery and then upload to the thread.

That looks pre-WW2 to me, but not being as experienced in this subject, I'll leave further commentary to those who are.

Some other items that were found with this were a 1930s aluminum musical powder box, Prussia plates, Hoenigszelt porcelain, and 1918 Noritake handpainted china. I'm guessing this is late 20s, 30s, or early 40s. But I don't have much experience with antique china other than where to look to identify it and I keep coming up empty on this item.

    JMHO.
I'd exclude Königszelt. they marked with their name.

Yes! This is it! Thank you so much. My items bear the 1920s stamp (Germany instead of Silesia). Thank you so much!
