Picked this up for $15. beautiful display piece. I cleaned layers and layers of dirt and grime off of it outside and is really nice now. However, I have one problem, I have no idea how old it might be. I am bummed because usually the stamps have a date on them but this one doesn't unfortunately. Can anyone help out?? I found one reference to a Dixon Mercantile & Lumber Co. in Wyoming 1897. The Bradford Robinson Printing company I can only find references from 1920-1940. Thanks for any help I would love to know at least a general range of when this was made!

    Hi,
Nice embosser. The plate for the lumber company may be later than the stand. I have an old stand and had a new plate made for me. It has my initials on it. I had it made in the 60s but the stand is from the 1870s.
