    I frankly don't deal in this stuff, but I was at an estate auction and I just couldn't pass on these for the money. Unfortunately, I know absolutely nada about this type of stuff. So, I was actually hoping to get some direction and suggestions.

    What I'd really like to know is;

    With some period frames in good condition, most of the frames are in poor shape;
    What the heck should I ask for them? (selling individually);
    Are any of them worth anything of significance? that should be investigated further;
    What are they? Lithotint? Etching? Engraving? (less than a handful were marked with what they were.)

    Anyway, I really do appreciate any help you can provide on all this so I can get them up on my website and for sale :)

    The ladies below are Protestant women from Zuid Beveland, Zeeland, in the southeast of the Netherlands. Probably ca 1910, judging from the shape of the lace caps.
    Very charming, but no great value.

    Man, what a great find. The documentation on the backs seems to line up with the prints. You have some lithographs, etchings, engravings and an original drawing.
    I think you will get a lot of great input from people. Some of the frames are really nice period pieces, there are people on the forum that are knowledgeable about them too. Each of these prints should be fairly easy to look up from the titles.

    The first 2 appear to be lithographs. They are the images used on the sheet music for the songs titled on the documentation. Interesting that yours are in color, I could only find black and white examples.

    For prints #3-#5. Halle Brothers was a department store. I suspect that the pictures were retailed there. I am a bit concerned that the titles are on the back, that would lead me to believe that they have been trimmed. Also, from experience, pictures from retailers tend to be laid down (glued to a substrate to keep them flat). That would not be good.The photo was not close enough to see the type of prints they were.

    "American Scenery" was a book published in 1840. Willis was the author, Bartlett was the illustrator. The engravings are based on sepia wash drawings that Bartlett did in 1835. Your picture is a page (engraving) removed from this book and then hand colored by someone in 1932.

    So then nothing to fancy. I will venture the frame on this one may be more desirable than the print...lol I was not even thinking about the frame, but Lithographer was very kind to point out they do have some value! Thanks for the link to the Gods Acre listing!

    For the 2 ladies in the kitchen. The artist is Lionel Peraux. I believe that it is a lithograph that has been embellished with watercolors. The border is very rigid, the paper does not look like watercolor paper and the ladies have black lips. However I could not find another example of this image, needs a close look with a magnifying glass.
