    Hi all

I'm trying to find out how to authenticate a hallstand by old charm. I've always been under the impression it is genuine but I've been told it should have a diamond shaped badge on the back. But this doesn't. I also have a dining room cabinet by old charm which also doesn't have the diamond badge.
Can anyone give me any information or advice about old charm furniture?

    Thank you :)

    Welcome, Vikki!

Is this the "Old Charm" furniture by Wood Bros. of Hertfordshire?

Hi, sorry I'm really new to all this :) yes it's wood brothers.

It was bought in the mid 60's by my mother in law and been in the family since. She bought it in the Northumberland area, a furniture shop in Hexham. rps20170109_183517.jpg rps20170109_183517.jpg rps20170109_183352.jpg rps20170109_183443.jpg rps20170109_183755.jpg

It's only my mother in law in one of them lol. Those are the best I could do without scaring anyone with my reflection in the mirror ;)

I asked because they are still in business and have an online presence (which is how I found them.) Have you considered sending them pictures of the pieces and whatever markings they do have?

I didn't realise that was an option. I will definitely look into it :) Thank you.
