Help With Artist On "Columbus" Print

Am I reading the name right, Larry Bost / Bust ? Can't find any artist by that name.

 

Kardinalisimo, can't help with the artist but . . .

You probably know already that it is "possibly" a "tribute?" to various arts and historical(?) sites in Columbus, Mississippi.

Old German-town Church steeple, downtown Columbus...

 

Old Dublin Bridge, now gone.

 

Several of these landmarks do seem to match... or am I just convincing myself?

 

Yep, I figured that out.
A decent edition number so the artist has to be mentioned somewhere.

 

I couldn't find him. But regardless, if it came to the attention of Columbus denizens, I think they'd love it.

 

Might be a local studio artist.

 

Or he could have been a cartoonist for a local newspaper. Back in the day there were such positions. Name looks like Larry Bast (Bast as in "Howard's End.")

I vote for Larry Kirk Bost, from Mississippi, but all I found was an obit. The poster is Columbus, MS, landmarks.
