I got this from a friend who is closing his antique shop. He doesn't know who artist is - he got it buying out an estate.
It has an unusual brass/brown color that almost seems to move or change in light.
Can anyone tell me about it or who artist is?

I found an emerald green porcelain one of these in a thrift store here in Australia! Mine is marked "BJS." underneath. I did some searching for similar ones who looked like him and found this one which is the same as mine

But has a different name marked underneath.

I think @say_it_slowly was right about it being a hobby mold

Here is another one I found on ebay, this one pretty much confirms it. Again the same design but in blue and green coloring instead and says "To Bill from Marge" under it.

Here's another emerald green one I found on pinterest

And a pair of turquoise ones

The oldest ones look to be from the 1970s. A couple of them say 1973.

Thats all the research i've done so far, hope it helps :)

Looks the exact same to me. The reflective brown coating, perspective and angle of the photos just gives the illusion of slightly different proportions but they’re the same mould. If you put them side by side in person you’d see what I mean.
Like I said I own one in green and looked at hundreds if not thousands of other foodog designs to find where it came from, this one is very distinct. Either way that’s not really the point of why I posted it lol was just trynna help OP
