Help with an asian vase I am not sure of where it came from...

    Hi again! I purchased a few pieces and I am glad I did not spend a lot because I am not sure they have much value but since I am still learning (thanks everyone!) here is one of the items.
    It is really pretty but I have no clue what the mark on the bottom is. Can anyone help on it?

    I think I figured this one out by the marking-Zhongguo Jingdezhen Zhi 1970 Chinese.

    And you were right.:)
    Your mark was sideways, which makes it difficult to find. Even if you can't read Chinese, it helps if you get a feel of how Oriental characters should be oriented.;) Even then you can get it wrong, but that is what we have a forum for.
