Can someone help with the age and wood type of these tables? I found on the drawers they are Weiman Rockwood but can’t find similar side table online to age or figure the wood. They appear to be veneer. I want to keep the original look just get new knobs and freshen up the wood but don’t want to ruin them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can you add photo of the joints inside the drawer?

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

I'm thinking they're awfully blurry to try and identify what the wood is, but someone may try.....it would be most helpful if you can get a couple of close-up pictures, in focus!! Thank you!!

If it’s me, I would keep them as is. They are very nice. But let’s hear from others. My knowledge is limited, I remodel furniture for fun. Not an expert :shame:

I'd like to say cherry wood (on the outside) but not 100% sure.........

I use Howards Restor a Finish to good effect. You just apply it and wipe it off and it will brighten up the wood. Then I use some Howard's Feed and Wax to protect it.

Thank you for all the feedback. I’m going to use the Restore a Finish suggestion!

I don't know a lot about Weiman but I'd guess 60's or 70's and probably walnut veneer. I agree that Restor-a-finish would be a good choice on these.
