Marked 14k and what appears to be an assay mark of SW stamped inside of an eye. ID’d as a Nugget Pendant. Any ideas of age or who made this?

What makes it a pendant & not just a nugget?

There is a place where a loop was that broke. I need to take it to a Jewler to drill it out.

It could literally have been anyone, including the proverbial bloke in a shed. No real way to know.

At one time jewelry sized nuggets were sold for premium prices, usually 30-40% above spot value.

Yes, this is what it is. They are called Nugget jewelry. They also make them in rings. They have been doing so for many year. If you search eBay, you will find many types. Some can be quite expensive depending on weight.

In your eyes, why is it beautiful when it is just a lump with no artistry or finesse?

Beauty comes in many shapes and sizes. Beauty has no guidelines when it comes to an individuals interpretation.
