Help w/signature on painting + 1985 Liberty Bell - NY sailing race poster + old sail/race flag?

I found these 2 paintings that I am pretty sure are mid century but the signature makes me think Asian/Eastern? I cannot make out the artist's name - can someone help me?
I also found a cool 1985 Liberty Bell, NY - a sailing race poster, but more interesting is a old flag that is in a shado box/frame and came in my friend's thrift store with the sailing poster. Was the flag part of the sailing course? Any ideas if it wasn't (with just the 1 letter & being from NY, I first thought maybe it was for Western Univ. in Canada!)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Hi Journey . .Beleive your first two paintings are by American artist Louise Hubyack (1916-1991)

 

The first two appear to be factory paintings. The Liberty Cup poster was designed by Yannick Manier, who also designed scarves for Hèrmes. There doesn't seem to be much demand for the poster.

Not that cheap ( I like it too - and I'm betting when I put it on eBay it will sell to a New Yorker; almost forgot but from same house/donation I got a large framed piece that looked like a cover from The New Yorker magazine but is titled Olde New York)

 

PS - any ideas on what the flag is/was for?

The "flag" is a burgee from a yacht club.
