Got this vase today. It is signed Mark Peiser 1973. It is 5" tall. I gather from a google search that he is a very desired and famous glass designer. His early period was from 1967-1977. I have not been able to find a vase like this online anywhere. Lots of his later work though. I did see a you tube video that claimed that hos early works are very sought after and can go into the thousands, but haven't been able to dig up any info to back that up. Does anybody have any more info? Thanks in advance. BTW The Auctioneer referred to this as a Jupiter Vase. I can see why, but i don't think MP called it that. Thank you in advance for any help.....comments. 002 (1024x983).jpg

Our Library offers Price It (powered by Worthpoint) I did not find any of his vases called Jupiter. Many had swirls. The one that sold for over $3,660.00 was floral and called a paper weight vase.
    Average Price: $369.67

    Number of Items: 40

    Prices: $55.00 - $3,660.00

    Hope this information helps.

    Sue

It is a great color. It sort of reminds me of some Czech Glass

A Priceminer search shows 50 matches: at the top: $7,200 for a sculpture vase 5 1/2", 1982 (this sculpture line looks line a moon in a galaxy of blue) to $55 for 5 1/2 two tone swirl vase in carmel.

    Thank you!
Desperate- The color is why I wanted it. The auction had 3 vases by him. I probably should have bought all three, but I really didn't like the other 2.

when I saw this one on the online catalogue, I know I had to have it, I had to sit thru 175 lots before it came up.

Trip 98.....Thank you for checking on Priceminer for me. I appreciate the info and the time it took to investigate it for me!

You buy all 3, sell 2 and hope it pays for all of them.

My problem is I buy 3 and start looking for a 4th..and 5th...etc
