Can anyone help to identify painter name of this sign

 

That has the appearance of a Mexican factory painting. Better quality photographs -- of both front and back including frame and shot from straight on -- would be helpful. And tell us where you got it and what you know about it.

Wow a Velvet Elvis painting. Haven't seen one of those in a while.

These were done by road side artists in Tijuana, for tourists. The artist is probably going to come up unknown. I would suggest searching for other Velvet Elvis examples to decide if you want this one, and what a good price would be.

 

I had Velvet Elvis years ago, my sister bought it at a gas station as a joke for a gift when I moved into my first apartment. A few years later I gave it back to her as a Christmas gift. It made the rounds of my family for years until it was given to my niece. She's had it ever since, 25 or so years, she loves it

 

And now I want to see it!

For a while we traded at Christmas a thrifted 80s decorative plate with a topless fantasy lady. AFTER we hid it amongst grandmother's plate collection. She never did find it until it was pointed out...

I'm glad your niece likes kitsch! I bet it's a fun conversation starter in her home.

 

Unbelievably, there appears to be a market for these. If you collect kitsch, this will give you an idea of going prices for similars.
