Help to find out,please.

    Hello!
    Please, help to find out: It is molding in bas-relief.,made of gray metal, it is more than 40 years old.
    1.Is it Kasli moulding? There is no any label.If no,what is it?
    2.How worth is it?

    Not enough information to tie it to a maker or period

    We made these in shop in Junior High from cast aluminum

    I doubt your piece came from Minnesota

    It is 15x15 cm and it is based on a wood surface.

    Terry is still on so he'll answer more I'm sure and I'm pretty sure we made these in school too... in New Jersey.

    He meant the metal work shop at school.

    I think it can't be possible to make it at school.It is needed very high temperature.

    Some schools in the USA have/had foundries or at least low temp ovens for certain metals. Sometimes such castings were brought in to teach finishing methods.

    Weight of the piece could give a guesstimate on metal. It does not appear to be iron.
