Featured Help to describe this antique valentine, please

    On the back this is dated 1860 and is described as a valentine. It is about 2" deep, appears to be paper and dried flowers. Just seeking a few key words, besides framed antique valentine. Thanks!

    How sweet! And it seems that it worked! Because they got married. ;)

    Don't know if you want to use this but Robert Stobie Drysdale and Jessie Ireland were born in Scotland. They had at least one child, Margaret Walker Drysdale, born about 1869 in Scotland. So this was made in Scotland.

    I'd call it something along the lines of "elaborate, dried flowers and lacy paper love token."
