I must begin by apologizing, because I showed this about a year ago, then got distracted (very).

This little (2 1/8" diameter) clock is keeping good time since I wound it earlier today.

What I seem to recall is that it maybe dates to the 1920s. And I didn't fully understand the advice I was given at the time. Something about selling it on eBay Motors for installation on the dashboard of an antique car.

Help me out here, please. And please accept my apologies.

    Thanks!

It may have been from a car, but |'m more inclined to think it had a leather or leatherette travelling case, now lost. This would be far more likely as millions were made. The softish cases fold open with three hinges so you can open it and set it on a bedside table.

I also think it dates from the 1930s. It would have a decent quality jewelled lever movement, generic Swiss make, and because as it is it is impractical, and also fundamentally, a fairly common type, not all that valuable.
The marked 'maker' was probably a retailer, nobody significant anyway.
