Help small oil on board?

    That is rather peculiar wave action. And the sails don't look right, either. An amateur work.

    I would think a tourist piece. Andre may or may not be the person that painted it. Yes, the waves look like a sea monster is coming up from the depths.

    Once upon a time I would have said the main 'boat' in the scene is a Dutch "Hugar", but now I'm not even sure of the spelling of it....too much time has passed!!!!:rolleyes::smuggrin:

    This is the kind of vessel I was referring to: I do remember they're flat bottomed!!!
