Featured Help reading this CHINESE \ JAPANESE mark. Champleve vase.

    I may be wrong, but the unfinished appearance of the base makes me think this is a recent reproduction. The Chinese seem to be mass producing all sorts of older styles. Perhaps you should not put much stock in the mark even if identified.

    the base ring looks disturbed
    the metal work....not so fine....
    4th quarter 20th century...maybe....

    The bottom of the vase appears to be covered with pitch,The repaired base was probably from a bad casting and a piece was added for the repair.

    very typical Japanese item. I believe it is authentic and more than 100 years old
