Help on dagger

    not sure if this is correct board to post, This is not mine, belongs to a friend who was given it by his uncle, I think it is Mexican, but I have been so wrong so many times, any help with origin , and age appreciated thank you. blade.jpg

    How about a picture of the whole thing including the blade.

    It looks remarkably crudely made, which is not always a sign of any great age.
