    hi e1,
Happy Monday, NOT!! Lol. Was wondering if anyone could help with this pin. The center appears to be Jade and not glass. The carving and construction or style does not look Asian to me. Unknown metal content but I’m positive it’s likely plated or lesser Just wondering about style, age, origin, and anything else. The pin on the back is after the turn of the century, correct me if I am wrong

any help is very much appreciated

    thank you!!

PS. I bought the lot cause I think I got a D&E but I am still researching that one. (Last pics) CE463188-5897-44AC-9553-28D4E72D215D.jpeg CB6711BD-444B-4D0D-BCB2-3AA52CF0C03B.jpeg

Do you have a gem tester?

Can you show the whole front, not just the close up?

It is costume, and looks like it could be Czech. It is very likely the jade is glass. The Bohemians/Czechs were very good at making glass imitations or stones.

    I agree. Nice Bohemian glass.

Thirded. Nice molded glass. Jade that color would NOT be in a costume setting. It would be in decent-karat gold. The second one does appear to be D&E. It has their navettes and the globby soldering job.

Really on the photos? It’s the iPhone 11 Pro. Ok, I would have never thought it was Czech glass. My presidium went missing in my move and I refuse to buy another but I think it’s time.

thank you e1 for all of the help!!!

Agreed on D&E too, that's a known one I think.
