Hello, I'm having trouble identifying and pricing an antique desk left by my grandfather. Any help is appreciated. Also, looking to get an approximate value of the desk.

    Thank you.

I've taken the liberty of reposting your photographs as Full Image (rather than Thumbnail) so they're easier for everyone to see.

Beautiful quarter-sawn oak desk ca. 1920. Sadly I would expect somewhere around $400 at best for it at auction here in my part of the US Midwest; 30 years ago it would have been several times that.
I love the quality of these big, heavy pieces but unfortunately I’m in the minority these days.

I'd sit in front of that puppy in a second....... nice condition....all the bells and whistles .....

Thank you everyone for your very helpful input. I am located in Orange County California near Los Angeles and now have a better idea on the value.

No idea of California, but where I am I'd feel happy if it sold at all.

Last one I had, I got $200 out of it. Similar to this but not quite as nice condition.Semi-rural Midwest location here. Probably can do better in or near a big city

Where I am that $200 buyer would be the Unicorn.
